The EWPA Yellow Card Training is for individuals who need the skills and knowledge to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), commonly known as EWPs. Developed by the EWPA—the peak industry body—this best-practice course covers the safe use of various EWP types, including boom-type EWPs with a boom length under 11 metres
Course Overview
The training course is designed for individuals in operational roles requiring an EWP operator licence, including those with a High-Risk licence or working at heights. It’s also ideal for anyone needing refresher training, such as those with an older Yellow Card or those who haven’t completed training in the past five years.
Note: For operating an EWP with a boom length of 11 metres or more, you need to attend our TLILIC0005 – Licence to Operate a Boom-Type EWP (Boom Length 11m or More) course. Group discounts are available!

Entry Requirements
To enrol in this course, participants must:

Attendance Requirements
- Participants must arrive 30 minutes prior to the course start time to complete enrolment paperwork.
- Latecomers arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled start will not be permitted to attend.
- Participants must wear sturdy shoes and appropriate attire for practical sessions.
Training & Assessment
Training is delivered by a qualified trainer in a simulated work environment. The delivery includes classroom instruction, group discussions, and practical demonstrations.
Assessment: Includes written questions, case studies, and practical tasks, ensuring knowledge and skills meet industry standards.
Certification
After successfully completing the course, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SOA). Your accredited trainer will submit records to the EWPA, who will issue your Yellow Card. A Digital Licence will be emailed to youfrom EWPA.

Course Delivery:
TP Training has entered into a formal third-party agreement with DLI Training (RTO ID: 21714). Under this agreement, TP Training is authorised to advertise and enrol students into courses delivered and assessed by DLI Training.
All training, assessment, student support services, and the issuing of statements of attainment or qualifications are the responsibility of DLI Training (RTO 21714).
TP Training acts as an enrolment and referral partner and may collect student fees on behalf of DLI Training. This arrangement allows students to access nationally recognised training programs — including courses designed for entry into the construction industry and select SafeWork NSW licence assessments — through a streamlined enrolment process.
